Allen Oliver's Professional Seasonings are the result of his years devoted to the foodservice industry as Chef-Owner of restaurants in Texas and Louisiana, consultant-designer of food facilities and a long tenure with the premier builder of barbeque equipment, J & R Manufacturing, Inc.
Mr. Oliver savored the many varieties of barbecue offerings across the American continent. Capturing the subtleties of the flavors and tastes he experienced, he formulated these uniquely different and delicious seasonings that are now available to foodservice professionals.
During his life, he was a renowned authority on barbecue, Allen Oliver was labeled the "Barbecue Evangelist" by Dallas' "D" Magazine. He is the author of the cookbook, "How to Barbecue, Grill and Spit Roast," for J & R Mfg. He served on the board of directors of the Texas Restaurant Association and was also the inventor and patent holder of the remarkable Ros O Bake® Gourment Baked Potato machine. |
